  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 12/29/1924 John F. Brauer, aged 84 years, died late yesterday afternnoon at the home of his son,, William A. Brauer in 130 Fredericka street. Mr. Brauer was bom in Germany and lived in this cuntry for 78 years, practically all of which he lived on t h e Nash road in the Town or Wheatfield. He is survived by h i s wife, t h r e e sons. Fred- erick W. J. B r a u e r of T o n a w a n d a a n d O t t o and W i l l i am A. B r a u e r . of North Tonawanda and t h i r t e e n grandchil- djpsn. He was a v e t e r a n of t h e Civil War, having s e r v e d with Company B, 28th Rogiment. N. Y. Volunteer In f a n t r y , from 1861 t o 63. He was a member of t h e S a n b o r n Post G A R The f u n e r a l will t a k e place Wednes- day a f t e r n o o n a t o n e o'clock from 130 Fredericka s t r e e t .
