BRAUN - Francis J. Braun
passed away suddenly Tuesday,
June 22, 1971, at the family
residence, 5440 Upper Mountain
Road, Lockport, N. Y. He is
survived by his wile, Isabell
Schrieber Braun, two daughters
and one son, Mrs. Thomas
(Bonnie) MeNaboe, of Olean. N.
Y., Mrs. Wendell (Martha)
Silsby, of Gasport, N. Y. and
Gary Francis Braun, of Lockport,
N. Y., one grandson,
Jeffrey Silsby, of Gasport, N.
Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph
Hoenig, of Lockport, N. Y. and
Sister Canisia, S.S.M.N., of
Buffalo, N. Y., also several
nieces and nephews. Friends
may call at the Funeral Home
of Taylor & Reynolds, Niagara
at North Transit Street, where
funeral services will be held at
9:00 o'clock Friday morning and
at St. Mary's Church at 9:30
o'clock. Interment will be in
Cold Springs Cemetery. The
rosary will be recited at 8:00
o'clock Thursday evening. In
lieu of flowers the family
requests that donations be made
to The Heart Fund.

LOCKPORT - Francis J.
Braun, 58, died unexpectedly
of an apparent heart attack
Tuesday (June 22,1971) at the
family residence, 5440 Upper
Mountain Road, Lockport.
He was born Feb. 23; 1913
in Lockport, the son of Bartholomew
and Mary Hebe
Braun. He was employed as a
purchasing agent for Sylvania
Electric Co. in West Seneca
for 21 years.
He was a member of St.
Mary's Church.
He is survived by his wife,
Isabell Schrieber Braun;-two
daughters and a son, Mrs.
Thomas (Bonnie) McNabbe of
Olean, Mrs. Wendall (Martha)
Silsby of Gaspori, and Gary
Francis Braun, at home; a
grandson, Jeffrey Silsby of
Gasport; two sisters, Mrs.
Ralph Hoenig of Lockport,
Sister Canisia, SSMN, of Buffalo,
and several nieces and'
nephews;
Friends may call at the Taylor
and Reynolds Funeral
Home, where services will be
held at 9 a.m. Friday and at
9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's
Church.
Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited
at 8 p.m. Thursday. Contributions
to the Heart Fund will
be acceptable as tribute, the
family said.
