- Florence Shutt Obituary
Florence M. Shutt of Newfane, NY wife of the late Herbert A. Shutt entered into rest on October 8, 2024. She was born in Lockport, NY on February 20, 1936, daughter of the late Alwin Payne and Viola Ogden.
Florence and Herb were married in 1971. She worked at Harrison Radiator and was a life member/past president of Miller Hose Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Grace Bible Church.
Mother of David (Luane) Braun, Douglas (Braun), Donald (Judith) Braun, Darlene (Tim Thomas) Gow, Donna (Fred) Kittle and the late Duane Braun and Raymond Shutt. Sister of the late Allen Payne, Vincy Boucher and Donna DeSmedt. Mother-in-law of Wanda White and the late Wayne Gow. Grandmother of Stacey & Ramano LaForme, Joe & Jason Braun, Michael & Michelle Braun, Michelle McKune, John, Laura, Darcy and Tonya Gow and James & Andrew Kittle. Also survived by several great grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 3-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 11am in the Grace Bible Church 6023 Dutton Place Newfane, NY 14108. The burial will be in Corwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Grace Bible Church or Miller Hose Ladies Aux.
