Andrew P. Braunschweiger,
Jr.. 65, of 28 N. Broad St., died
August 13, 1976 at the Bath
veterans Hospital, after a long
illness.
He was a Wellsville native, a
graduate of Immaculate Conception
School, and attended St.
Michael's College-School, Toronto.
Canada. He graduated from
the Rochester School of Commerce
and was an accountant,
working for Shell Oil Co.. in
Ithaca for many years.
He served in the Pacific
Theatre with the U.S. Navy in
World War II, and was also
employed at the Sinclair Refinery
in Wellsville. From 1960 to 1966
he was employed by the village of
Wellsville, ending his village
career as village clerk, in 1966.
He was a member of the
Immaculate Conception Church,
the Knights of Columbus Council
919 in Wellsville, and the Holy
Name Society.
Surviving are two sisters, Miss
Catherine Braunschweiger, of
Wellsville, and Mrs. Henry
Reuss, of West Seneca; a brother,
Max Braunschweiger in Hornell;
and several nieces and nephews.
