One of the prettiest weddings of the
season was that of Miss Edith M.
Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J . L.
Myers of No. 163S Weston avenue and
George J. Pfetsch of t h i s city, which
was solemnized yesterday afternoon
at five thirty at the home of the bride's
parents. The Rev. I. H. Crocker officiating
in t h e presence of about fifty
invited guests.. The double ring service,
was performed. The bride was
handsomely gowned in white embroidered
voile over mersalaine with pearl
trimmings and carried white, roses.
Her veil was caught with lillies of
the valley. The bridesmaid. Miss Rose
Hartman. wore a gown of pink Crepe
de Chone and carried pink roses. Mr.
Oliver.Myers, brother of t h e bride, wag
best man. while Miss Myrtle Ford was'
flower girl and Warren Pfetsch was
ring bearer. Miss Eieoner Hartman
played the wedding march. The house
wnc prettily decorated throughout
with asters and ferns and- t h e young
couple were married under a canopy
of palms entwined with asters while a
ban'c ot white asters formed the background.
After the ceremony -a wedding
supper was served the guests and
t h e bride's table, where covers were
laid for sixteen, was beautifully decorated
with pink and \vhit<> asters, and
pink candles. Mr- and Mrs. Pfetsch
left this morning at 12:15 for a.'lrlp
th"ough Flint, Port Huron and Detroit,
Mich., and after October 1st will
be at home to their friends at No. 163-S
Westor avenue. Among the out-oftown
guests were: Mrs. Charles Meister.
Mrs. Louis Ruehl and Miss Em-
ma Buehl of Ruffalo, Mrs. W. H. Bur-
den of New Vork City. Mr. and Mrs.
Glen Knapp of Ransomville. Mr- and
Mrs. Richard Clark of Youngslown,
