- Richard A. Allinson, 61 of Wheatfield, NY passed away on April 7, 2018. Born December 6, 1956 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Alfred E. and Thelma M. (Winker) Allinson.
Richard was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. On July 8, 1978, he married Diana ‘Deedy’ (Alfiere) Allinson in Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Richard was employed as a managing supervisor at Modern Corporation in Lewiston for the past forty years. Richard enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fixing cars and spending time at his camp in the Southern Tier. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife of 40 years, Richard is survived by his two sons, Alfred Allinson and Matthew J. Allinson, three grandchildren, Haylie, Jaxson and Alainah, brothers and sister, Harry ‘Butch’ Allinson, Alfred ‘Sonny’ (late Rosemarie) Allinson and Linda (David) Leone, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by a sister, Barbara (late Tom) Szopinski.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday Aril 11th at 10:00 a.m. at St Jude the Apostle Church, 800 Niagara Falls Boulevard, North Tonawanda, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.
