Funeral services were held Monday
morning at St. Mary's Cathedral.
Ogdensburg. for Ralph
A. Mitchell, who died suddenly
of a heart attack in Ogdensburg
on Sept. 27.
Three weeks before his death.
Mr. Mitchell began working for
the Commercial Advertiser of
Canton as a linotype operator. He
died several hours after quitting
work at five on Thursday.
He had engaged in the printing
business most of his life, having
been business manager of the
old Ogdensburg Advance-News
when It was a daily, a partner in
publishing the North Country
News at Massena. editor-and business
manager of the Norwood
News, and linotype operator for
Massena and Ogdensburg papers.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Og-
densburg on Aug. 1. 1907. son of
Alex and Ida Bray Mitchell. His
father ditfd several years ago. He
married Miss Agnes Brown at
St. Mary's Cathedral en Nov. 19.
1928.
Surviving are his wife, the former
Miss Agnes Brown; his mother,
Mrs. Harold Rega; three
daughters. Norma. Barbara and
Constance: a son. Ralph. Jr.. two
sisters. Mrs. August Ashley, jr..
and Mrs. Harland Handley. and
a brother. Willard Mitchell. Chicago,
Ill.
