LYNDONVILLE, July 11.-J. W.
Breed, 71 years old, died suddenly this
morning at his home, 73 North Main
street, from heart disease.
Mr. Breed was born February 1,
1863, at Lyndonville. and had resided
here all his life. He retired from
farming in 1908. i He was a member
of the Maccabee order, an active
worker In the Methodist church and
at the time of his death was serving
on the village board and the Board
of Education.
On November 19, 1890, he married
Miss Iner. Lott. of North Rldgeway,
who survives him. The other survivors
are one daughter. Mrs. Helen
Barlow, apd one son. Homer Breed,
both of this village: five grandsons:
three brothers. Burr T. Breed, of
Niagara Falls. Frank Breed, of Lincoln,
Nebraska, and Ernest Breed, of
this village.
Funeral services will be held Friday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the
family home here. • The Rev. Fredr
erick Mlttlefehldt will officiate. Interment
will be in Lynhaven cemetery
here.
