LYNDONVILLE - Ross E
Barlow, 66, of 44 Garland St. died
In Medina Memorial Hospital
Wednesday evening (Nov. 14,
1962). He had been in poor health
for the past several months
Born Jan. 2, 1896 in the Town
of Rldgeway. Mr. Barlow was
the son of Andrew and Francis
Prudom Barlow. During World
War I he served with the U.S.
Army for 11 months.
In 1925 he married Helen Breed
Snowdon. They have always lived
at Garland Street address.
Mr. Barlow was a produce
buyer for the A&P Tea Co. for
34 years. He retired in April of
this year.
He was a member of Lyndonville
Methodist Church and was
active in the church choir for
many years.
Besides his wife, he is survived
by two step-sons, Roger
Snowdon of Alexandria, Va., G.
Ronald Snowdon of Lyndonville;
a son. Phillip E. Barlow of Buffalo;
five grandchildren; a brother,
Fraser G. Barlow of Lockport;
and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Smythe
Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul
Franke, pastor of the Methodist
Church, officiating. Burial will be
in Lynhaven Cemetery.
