AKRON - Marshall M.
Owen died yesterday in the
Sheehan Memorial Hospital
Burn Treatment Center,
Buffalo, where he was admitted
Oct. 17 following a farm
accident.
Mr. Owen was born Jan. 21,
1917 in Akron, the son of the
late Howard and Lena (Brege)
Owen. He resided at 7487
Maple Road, Akron, where he
was a self employed farmer.
He was a member of the
Akron Lions Club, was an
Akron Agway committeeman
and a Newstead Town committeeman
for District 3.
Surviving are his wife, Edith
(Bugenhagen) Owen; three
sons, Charles H. (Shirley) of
Medina, Richard L. (Leslie) of
Akron and John H. (Marybeth)
of Akron; five grandchildren;
his stepmother, Mrs. Marie
Owen of Palmetto, Fla.; a
stepbrother, Julius Stapf of
Wilson.
Another son, Gary M. Owen,
is deceased.
Friends may call tonight and
Wednesday (2-4, 7-9) at the
Bernhardt Funeral Home, 130
Main St., Akron, where funeral
services will be held Thursday
at 1 p.m. Burial will be in
Eldred Cemetery, Akron.
Memorials may be made to
the Akron Lions Club.
