Debra A. Shaughnessy, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 15, 1953 she was the daughter of the late William G. Marsh and the late Helen Marsh-Gaines. Debra was involved and volunteered for many years with the Cataract Little Loop Football league in Niagara Falls.
She is survived by her husband, James Shaughnessy; children, Tammy (Tank) Hayes, Robin Wirth, Jennifer (Johnny) Parks, Wendy Sams, Kimberly (Kalan Foster) Kennedy and Becky (late-Bobby Cox) Zimmerman, James (Michelle) Shaughnessy, Randy (Melissa Heller) Zimmerman and Jayson Shaughnessy; 25 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Ronald) Allan, Victoria Chesser, Mary Ann Gaines and Joann Torcasio; brother, William (Becky) Marsh; sister in-law, Sherry Marsh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jeffery Shaughnessy; grandsons, Desmond and Brandon Zimmerman; brothers, John "Butch" Marsh, and Keith Marsh.
Per Debra's wishes, there is NO PRIOR visitation. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC
