LONG ILLNESS FATAL
Mrs. Rose Pfetsch Tompkins Succumbs
at Hospital at Falls.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rose
Pfetsch Tompkins, of the Mentz
apartments, who died early last evening
at Mount St. Mary's hospital
after an Illness of three years, will
be held at the Leuppie funeral
chapel, 524 Mam street, at 3:30 p.
m. tomorrow, with the Rev. Arthur
H. Schmoyer officiating. Burial will
be in Oakwood cemetery. Surviving
Mrs. Tompkins are two sisters. Mrs.
Wallace Boyd and Mrs. Floyd
Prindle, both of this city.
Mrs. Tompkins was a native of
this city and for some years served
as switchboard operator at the R.
and H. plant. She is the widow of
John E. Tompkins, who was a foreman
at the Carborundum company
plant, and was a sister of the late
Policeman John Pfetsch and of the
late Fireman George Pfetsch, Jr.
