Turin,'March 4-Eugene Brenon,
73, well known resident of the
Gomer Hill section, died at his
home early Sunday morning.
He was born on Welsh Hill, December
3, 1862, a son of the late
Amie and Rosella Manigold Bre-
Brenon.
When a young man he lived
den, where he attended school and
later taught school for several
for several years with his sister,
Mrs. RainĀ© Maurer, at West Leyyears.
In December, 1888, he married
Mis3 Mary Runge of Romp,
who died 17 years ago. In February,
1921, he married Mrs. Jennie
Manigold, who survives.
Mr. Brenon was a violinist of
note and bad played with a local
orchestra on numerous occasions.
He was a successful farmer and
had a large circle of friends. He
was a member of the Maple Ridge
Catholic Church.
Surviving besides his widow are
two daughters, Mrs. Frank Burgeois
of Johnstown, Ohio, and Mrs.
John Mahoney of Martinsburg;
two sons, Elmer Brenon of Johnstown,
Ohio and Ernest Brenon of
Gomer Hill; three sisters, Mrs.
Virginia Bailey of Collinsville, Mrs.
Margaret O'Hara of Constableville,
and Mrs. Raine Maurer of West
Leyden; and several grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday
at St. Mary's Church at Con-
stableville.
