KELLY-Patrick J. Kelly, aged
78, of 236 Grove St., Tonawanda,
died Monday rporning (Jan. 17,
1955) in his residence after a prolonged
illness. Born in Tonawanda,
he was a lifelong resident of
the city and was employed as a
carpenter for most of his life. In
the latter years he was a tender
on the Bascule Bridge before re-
tiring four years ago. Mr. Kellly
was a member of St. Francis
Church, the Holy Name Society
of the church, one of the oldest
members of Union Hook and Lad-
der Co.,, and was a member of the
Exempt Firemen's Association of
Tonawanda. He is survived by his
wife, Clara (new Brenon); a son
Leonard; two daughters, Miss
Marie Kelly and Mrs. Seffon
Brown; four grandchildren and a
great - granddaughter; a sister,
Mrs. Catherine Heimback, all of
Tonawanda, and a brother,
Thomas Kelly of Hudson, N.Y.
The late Hugh Kelly was as a
son. Friends may call at the
Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam
St., where services will be hed
at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and at 9
a.m. at St. Francis Church, the
Rev. Wilbur Yeager officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cem-
etery.
