ONEIDA - Leo V. Brewer,
78, of Hubbard Place, died early
today in the Oneida C i ty
Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Clockville,
Dec. 21, 1889, the son of Frank
and Lucy Clement Brewer, and
had been a resident of this area
all his life.
Mr. Brewer who was engaged
in dairy farming, never mar«
ried. At one time he was part
owner of the family business
known several years ago as the
Orchard Place Dairy.
H« was a member of the
Madison County E x t e n s i o n
Service; an honorary member
of the Madison County Firemen's
Association, and a f o r m e r
member of the Oneida Nest of
Owls 1606.
He leaves two b r o t h e r s ,
DeVerne F. Brewer, Oneida RD
1, and Harry Brewer, Blossvale;
three sisters, Mrs. Hazel
Taylor and Reta B r e w e r,
Hubbard Place, Oneida, and
Mrs. Marison (Mae) Newcomb,
Tucson, Ariz.
Funeral services will be held
at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fiore
Funeral Home, 303 Main St.,
Oneida, with the Rev. Irving G.
Hill, pastor of the First Methodist
Church officiating. Burial
will be in Glenwood Cemetery,
Oneida.
Friends may call at the funeral
home on S a t u r d a y
afternoon and evening at their
convenience.
