Funeral services for Irving Brewster,
one of the best known residents
of the town of Ledyard and
collector for that township, who died
suddenly Sunday morning while on
a visit to the home of Charles Hopkins
in the town of Scipio will be
held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock
from the late home Rev. Thomas
Huff of Scipioville will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
•Mr. Brewster was 57 years old n.d
resided at Barber's Corners. Mr. and
Mrs. Brewster had driven to the Hoskins
home and on their arrival Mr.
Brewster was taken ill. Dr. B. K.
iHoxie was summoned from Sherwood,
but the man was beyond medical
assistance. Death was caused by
an acute heart attack due to a complication
of diseases. About three
years ago Mr. Brewster underwent a
delicate operation and since that time
his health has not been of the best
it is said. However, he did not complain
of feeling bad on Sunday until
he was stricken with the fatal attack
Besides his widow, he is survived
by several brothers and sisters. nio«t
of whom reside in the southern part
of the county.
