Harry Brierley, 52, of 552
Grauer Road, Town of Niagara,
died of an apparent
heart attack Saturday, shortly
after arrival at Memorial
Hospital.
He was born in Niagara
Falls and attended schools
here. For the last 18 years
he worked in the maintenance
department of the International
G r a p h i t e Co.
Plant.
Mr. Brierley saw action
in the Philippine Islands
with the army during World
War 1L He was an active
member of Niagara No. 2
Volunteer Fire Co. in the
Town of Niagara.
Surviving are his wife,
Mrs. Jean Brierley, a daughter,
Gail Brierley; his father,
John E. Brierley; two brothers,
John E. Brierley Jr.
and LeRoy A. Brierley, all
of this city; and a sister,
Mrs. Lawrence (Jean) Everet.
Funeral services will be
conducted at the Gridley
Funeral Home Wednesday
at 1 p.m. by Rev. Richard
P. Townsend, rector of St.
Peter's Episcopal Church.
Burial will be in Memorial
Park Cemetery. Friends may
call at the funeral home
after noon on Monday.
