  Geneva NY Daily Times - 6/23/1964 DUNDEE - Funeral service for Leon J Briggs, 36, of Dun- dee, RD, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oughterson Funer- al Home. The Rev. Robert J. Knapp of Savona will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Ceme- Friends may call at the fu- nerall home today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. Briggs died Sunday in the Bath VA Hospital. He was born in Andover on March 7, 1928. Most of his life was spent in Dundee area where he was a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Havens Brggs; three sons, James, Donald and Ed- ward; and one daughter, Paula, all at home; his parent, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Briggs of Dun- dee, RD1, and two sisters,, Mrs. Tracy Hainsworth, and Mrs. Frank Mullin of Penn Yan; nine brothers, Lawrence, Charles, Lewis, David of Dun- dee; Arling and Harold of RD, Penn Yan; Robert of Canandai- qua; Howard Jr., of Montour Falls; and Stanley of Newfield.
