  Rome NY Daily Sentinel Port Leyden, Jan. 29-The funeral of Mrs. Susan Briggs Rocker, widow of the late William Rocker was held at the New Covenant Church Sunday afternoon. Rev. Frank Jones, pastor .officiating. Mrs. Rocker's death occurred at the homo of nor son Eri Rocker in French Settlement five miles from here on the Moose River rood. 8he was born near Boonville Jan. 20, 1864. Mr. Rocker passed away several years ago. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Howard Sconton, Mrs. Claude Blim, Mrs. Jo- seph Levert, Mrs. Floyd Brlnkerhoff, Mrs. Rebecca Leland and one son Erl Rocker. The bearers were grandsons, Percey Scouton, Wesley Scouten Daniel Bllm, Clifford Rockdr. Frederick Rocker and,Glen Leland. of Boonville. The remains were placed in the vault to await Interment in the family plot in the spring in the Port Leyden Cemetery.
