  Utica NY Observer - 4/12/1957 Fred Brindisi, 76. of 14 Adrean Terr. E, died Apr.11 1957. in his home after an illness of four months. He was born Jan. 28. 1881. in Croani, Province of Catan- zaro, Italy, a son of Angelo and Itallia Roseia Brin- disi. He came to this coun- try and to Utica 55 years ago, and had lived here since. He mar- ried Josephine Rocco in 1906 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church. Most of his life in Utica he was employed by local contractors, retiring about four years ago. He was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Troper and Mrs Robert Pless, both of Utica; four sons, Benjamin, Rosario, Anthony and Sam, all of Utica; 13 grandchildren; sev- eral nieces and nephews. The funeral willl be at 9:30 Mon- day from the Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St., and 10 from St. Agnes Church where a solemn requiem high Mass will be offered. Burial will be in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery.
