John E. Brinkworth, 63, supervisor
of plumbing and heating
for the Buffalo Board of Education,
died yesterday morning in
Millard Fillmore Hospital after
a heart attack in his home, 26-1/2
Winter St.
Mr. Brinkworth, a Board of
Education employee since
1927, was foreman of plumbing
for five years before becoming
supervisor of plumbing
and heating in 1955.
A lifelong Buffalonian, he was
a member of Local 36, Plumbers
Union, AFL-CIO.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Bessie Nunan; a son,
Det. William M. Brinkworth of
the , W. Delavan Station; a
daughter, Mrs. Benjamin Ashton;
a brother, William M.
Brinkworth; a sister, Mrs.
Charles Hawkins of Ken more
and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted
Friday morning at the
George J. Roberts & Sons Funeral
Home, 205 Linwood Ave.,
and at Nativity Church at a time
to be announced. Burial will be
in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town
of Tonawandaa.
