OLEAN - Prayer services
for Thomas A. Briody, 65, of
106 South 6th St., will be at
9:30 a.m. Monday at the
Guenfher Funeral Home, 1303
E. State St., followed by a
Requiem Mass at St. Mary of
the Angels Church. Burial will
be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
Mr. Briody, a retired foreman
for Dresser Clark, died
Thursday in Kenmore Mercy
Hospital, Town of Tonawanda,
after a short illness. He was a
graduate of St. Bonavenfure
University and had been employed
by Dresser Clark for
32 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Elizabeth Canada Briody; two
daughters, Miss Martha Lynn
Briody of Washington, D.C.,
and Mrs. Michael T. McAvinney
of Rochester; two sons, David
of Salt Lake City, and Thomas
of New York City;'a grandchild;
a brother, John of Largo,
Fla.. and two sisters, Mrs.
Arthur Vossler of Eggertsville
and Mrs. Frank Poch of Bethesda,
Md.
