The mother
Trientje Ehmen FOLKERTS was born at Landhorst near Aurich, German and was an orphan reared in the home of Ulfert H. and Popke Frieden Bienhoff, her husbands parents. She was born April 13, 1826 and died April 9, 1914. She wed Heinrich Ulfert Bienhoff sometime in 1854.
Ulfert and Popke were the parents of Henrich Ulfert BIENHOFF. (details on them later)
Henrich was born at Ochtelvur, Eastfriesia, kingdom of Hanover, August 24, 1824 and died March 6, 1916. Heinrich emmigrated in 1851, landing at New Orleans, then came north to Adams county by water. For a short time he found occupation in Quincy, IL, then moved west in the county, locating near Cammp Poing were they spent the first 14 years of of married life, then settled in La Prairie, IL.
The parents of Henrich Ulfert Bienhoff were
Ulfert Bienhoff b. Nov. 2, 1802, d. Nov. 28, 1864 and Popke FRIEDEN born in 1800 and died Sept 18, 1864.
Heinrich also had a brother Poppaus how joined the family in IL. at or about the same time as the parents and Trientje. (check on this)
