  TONAWANDA NEWS- 5 January 1944 Mrs. Minnie Gauda, 72, of 226 Fredericka street, wife of the late Albert Gauda, died yesterday after a prolonged illness. She was a lifelong resident and a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran church on East Felton street and Pocahontas Lodge, Order of the Redmen. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward Hahn of Tonawanda; three sons, John and George Butler of North Tonawanda and Arthur of Tonawanda; 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. William Bampton of Buffalo. Rites will be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the residence. The Rev. Rudolph Grabau will officiate. Burial will be in the City cemetery.
