PRINCE OF PEACE CHURCH was the setting
Saturday (Nov. 20,1971) for the noon double ring
ceremony uniting Miss Jean Ann Calveilo and
Thomas J. Broda In marriage. The Rev. Dennis
A. McAndrew officiated.
-The bride Is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs.
Clifford K. Calveilo, 5634 Lindbergh Ave., and
the bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Broda, 1470 Tuscarora Road.
Given in marriage by her father the bride
chose a gown of English imported silk embroidered
organza in gardenia white. The gown
was styled with a scooped neckline and short
puffed sleeves edged in venise lace. The lace
daisy motifs were centered with purple crystals.
The empire bodice was edged in purple crepe
with streamers and the A line skirt fell into a
chapel length train. Her veil was cathedral
length and was secured by a lace face framer
trimmed with crystals and pearls. Loops of
purple crepe were Interwoven and she carried a
cascade of purple orchids and pearl centered
stefanotis with Ivy.,
MRS. GENE STRASSBURG was matron of
honor. She wore a purple crepe pant dress styled
with a high neckline, long puffed sleeves and
white fur trimming at the collar and cuffs. Her
matching camelot headpiece secured a face veil
.and she carried white fur muff with a cascade
bouquet of .white and purple pompons, gold
baby's breath and ivy.
Mrs. Clifford Calveilo Jr., Miss Christine
Calveilo, sister of the bride, bridesmaids, were
similarly gowned.
LAWRENCE TRAVIS was best man and the
ushers were Donald Getty and Lester Arthur.
Mark and Anthony Calveilo, brothers of the
bride, were altar boys.
An afternoon reception was held at the
Pauper's 3 Restaurant.-
Following a wedding-trip to Ocho Rios,
Jamaica, the couple will reside in this city.
