 L. D. Breeden, 45, of 546
 73rd St., president of the
 Young Democrats Club of the
 14th Ward and a furnace op-
 erator at he Republic Plant
 of the National Carbon Co.,
 died Monday (Oct 24, 1960) at
 Memorial Hospital after an
 illness of five weeks.
 A native of Bybee,, Tenn.,
 Mr. Breeden came to this city
 20 years ago.  He was employ-
 ed at the Republic Plant for
 the last 20 years.
 Surviving are his wife, the
 former Miss Christine Mess of
 this city, and two sons, Lenny
 David and James Kenneth
 Breeden, this city.
 Also surviving are two sisters,
 Mrs. Kent Bible, Bybee,
 Tenn., and Mrs. Ray Fox, Lake
 City, Tenn., and three brothers,
 Trent Breeden, this city;
 Kenneth Breeden, Bybee, and
 William Breedon, Oak Ridge,
 Tenn.
 Funeral services will be conducted
 at 2 p.m. Thursday at
 the Rhoney Funeral Home by
 Rev. Alfred F. Hartwigsen.
 Burial will be in Riverdale
 Cemetery.
