Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Bliss of
17 Scott St. announce the engagement
of their daughter, Marion S.
to Albert S. Brody, son of Mrs.
Katherine Brody of Cleveland Ave.
Miss Bliss is a graduate of the Retailing
Department of the Rochester
Institute ol Technology.

The marriage of Miss Marion
S. Bliss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph L. Bliss of Scott St. to Albert
S. Brody, son of Mrs. Katherine
Brody, was solemnized Saturday,
July 3, at 11:30 a.m. in
St. Francis of Assisi Church. The
Rev. Francis Trapp officiated.
The bride wore a dress of
white embroidered organdy over
satin, a white hat and carried a
colonial bouquet of yellow and
white roses.
Her sister, Mrs. Mildred Wolgast,
was the bride's only attendant.
She wore pale green
dotted swiss, a white hat, and
carried green and white roses.
Edward Brody attended his
brother, as best man.
Mrs. Biss, the bride's mother,
chose a flowered silk dress with
black accessories. Mrs. Brody
wore navy blue with white accessories.
Both wore corsages of
gardenias.
A wedding breakfast was served
at the Colvin Casino for the immediate
Jemtliea. In the afternoon
a reception was giĀ»en at the
home of the bride's parents.
After a wedding trip to Hollywood
Hills, Old Form in the
Adirondacks, Mr. and Mrs. Brody
will be at home in Rumbold Ave.,
North Tonawanda.
Parties for the bride were given
by Mrs. Ann Berndt, Mrs.
Frank Brody, Mrs. Wolgast, Mrs.
Janet Bliss, Miss Shirley Rockwell
and Miss Jean LeWin and
Miss Doris Verbock of Buffalo.
