- OBITUARY
Nancy W. Terhaar of the Town of Niagara, formerly of the Town of Pendleton, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport,NY. She was born in Munhall, PA on February 5, 1932, a daughter of the late Horace and Elizabeth [Glover] Wilson.
Mrs. Terhaar graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1950.
She was an Account Clerk with the Niagara County Audit Department for 12 years before retiring in 1991.
Mrs. Terhaar was well known for her love of all animals, Christmas cookies and enjoyed playing Pinochle.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles W. Terhaar, one son Kenneth (Gail) Terhaar, two daughters Kathryn DiNardo and Kristine (Mark) Gaines, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Elizabeth (late Albert) Funk and Jean (late Lou) Lesly.
Her family will be present on Monday from 11-12PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, followed by Funeral Services at 12:00 PM.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.
