  Niagara Gazette - 8/29/1927 LOCKPORT, Aug. 29.-Mrs. Mary E. Brong, 69 years old. widow of Daniel E. Brong, a well known resident of this city, where she lived during her entire life, died suddenly, yesterday morning at her home 156 Elmwood avenue, of heart disease. The deceased was a member of the Universalists church, the D. A. K and the Bay View Reading club here. She Is survived by two sons, Karl S. and Parker P. Brong. both of this city. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. from the home. Burial will be In Cold Springs cemetery.
