- Mary E. (Brontmire) Workman, 88 years old, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2016 and joins her husband, Clarence, in the arms of the Lord. She was born in Niagara Falls on February 12, 1928, the daughter of the late Nelson and Effie (McNarin) Brontmire.
Mrs. Workman was a homemaker who devoted herself to caring for her family. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, camping and bowling. She was a member of the VFW Post 54.
Mrs. Workman is survived by her children, Larry (Hae) Workman of Niagara Falls, Mark (Denise) Workman of Cleveland, GA, Bobby (William) Banks of Niagara Falls and Kathleen (late Angel) Barreto of the Town of Niagara. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence R. Workman who passed away on October 13, 2014; and her brother, George Brontmire.
There is no visitation. Private interment was held at Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at WoundedWarriorProject.org/Donate.
