Funeral services for Kermit Brooks
18 y e a r-oold son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles J Brooks, 774 15th street, were
held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon
in the family home. The Rev. W. A.
Stackkhouse of the La Salle Methodist
Episcopal church conducted the serv-
ices, assisted by the Rev. W.. C Crofts
of Pierce Avenue Presbyterian church.
Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.
Members of the Niagara Falls high
school senior class, the Y.P.B. En-
worth league and the Hi-Y club of the
Falls Y. M.. C. A. in which organiza-
tions young Brooks was an active mem-
ber, attended the services The bear-
ers, who were selected from among the
membership of those were Howard
Channing, Harold Mort, Lionel Banks,
Raymond McIntosh,, Floyd Hall and
Reid Robinson.

prepared for burial. The funeral will

o'clock from his former home, the

E. church, o f f i c i a t i n g . Burial will be
in Oakwood c e m e t e r y .
B r o o k s , who was a joy of student
at the Niagara Falls High School,
w a s popular with his associates. He
was w e l l - k n o w n for his activities at
t h e F a l l s Y. M C A andwas close-
ly c o n n e c t e d with the young people's
c l u b s of the M. E. c h u r c h in LaSalle.
Besides his parents. Mr and Mrs.
C h a r l e s J. Brooks, he is survived by
one brother, Harold C. and three
s i s t e r s . Myrna, Dorothy and Myrna.
