- Obituary of Marjorie G. Smith
Marjorie G. Smith, age 85, of Ransomville died Monday, August 22, 2022, at home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Marjorie was born July 27, 1937, in Ransomville, NY. She is the daughter of the late Donald and the late Gladys (Schultz) Woolson. Marjorie was a graduate of Wilson High School. She married Donald W. Smith on October 21, 1985, he predeceased her on April 12, 2002. She was employed by GM/Harrison Radiator as an assembly line worker retiring after 31 years and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge. She is survived by one son, David (Stephanie) Smith of Akron, NY and three grandchildren, Joshua (Thayna) Smith, Tyler Smith, Allisa Smith, also a sister-in-law Carol Woolson. She is predeceased by her siblings Glenn (Late Shirley) Woolson, Edna Rider, Carl Woolson, James Woolson and Robert Woolson.Private graveside will be held in St. Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Ransomville Vol. Fire Co.
