  Cuba NY Patriot - 6/22/1960 Joseph M. Brotherton died Thursday, June 16, 1960, at Cuba Memorial Hospital, following a long illness. He was born Feb. 22, 1886 at Weathersfield, N. Y., the son of George Brotherton and Sylvia Bishop Brotherton. He has resided in Cuba since 1913. The deceased is survived by a daughter, Georgia Brothton, Cuba; one son, Gerald Brotherton, Cuba; one grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Emma Cannon, Fillmore. Services were conducted at the Loveridge Funeral Home Saturday, June 18. 1960, at two o'clock. The Rev. Earl Bell, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Cuba Cemetery
