- Marion M. Strubing, 97, wife of the late Wendell C. Strubing. Born on November 24, 1917 in North Tonawanda to Mr. Ellis C. & Mildred (Henneberger) Mollnow. She attended North Tonawanda schools until 1935 when she moved to Lockport and graduated Lockport High School in 1936. She came to Wilson in 1940 and worked at Ben's Market, Welker & Browns Grocery store in Wilson. She retired from the Wilson Central School District in 1979 after 15 years in the High School Cafeteria. She belonged to the Gnostic Guild of Wilson since 1942. She was honored in 2001 by the Wilson Fireman's Auxiliary for 55 years of service. She also enjoyed bowling with friends loved to go camping especially at the Yogi Bear Allegany Resort. She was a Lifelong Member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Newfane.
She is survived by her children, the late Wendell C. (Ellie) Strubing Jr. and Jeffery (Theresa) Strubing; grandchildren, Raymond Strubing, Chad (Kelly) Strubing, Jennifer(Tom) Serrano; two great-granddaughters, Margaret and Rachael Serrano; a sister, Denise (Michael) Driscoll and a late brother, Nick Sebek; a nephew, Scott (Carla) Driscoll and a niece, Kristine (Marc) Brett.
A visitation will be held at Hamilton & Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young St., Wilson from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday. Funeral services will be Saturday 10 A.M. at the funeral home. rossfuneraldirectors.com
