Walter J. G. (Bud) Bruehl, an
employe at the Dunlop Tire and
Rubber plant in the Town of Tonawanda
for 16 years, died yesterday of
an apparent heart attack in his Buffalo
home.
Mr. Bruehl, 62, was a retired assistant
to the vice president for sporting
goods of the Dunlop Corporation. He
worked for the town plant in promoting
golf and tennis equipment.
During his lifetime, Mr. Bruehl was
a member of the Park Country Club,
the Aero Club and the Elma Gun Club.
A native of Philadelphia, he was a
graduate of Bennett High School in
Buffalo. He was a test pilot for the
Curtiss Wright Corp. during World War
II and was a civilian flying instructor.
Memorial services will be conducted
tomorrow in the Calvary Episcopal
Church, Williamsville.
