Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Brumby
of Ivy avenue, Westbury, celebrated
their silver wedding anniversary
on Christmas day with a
dinner party at San Su San inn, on
Jericho turnpike, Mineola. Mr.
and Mrs. Brumby were married
in East Leake, Nottinghamshire,
England, on Christmas day, 1913,
and sailed for America on December
31 the same year. They
lived for a time in Boston and
Narberth, Pa., and have been residents
of Westbury for the past
19 years. When interviewed, Mrs.
Brumby emphatically stated "we
have been citizens of the United
States for many years and are
mighty proud of it,"
With three of his four sons, Mr.
Brumby runs the Havahome kennels,
on Brookville road, Guests
at the dinner party were: Mr. and
Mrs. Frederick W. Brumby, their
son, Russell Dudley; Wilfred B.
Brumby, his fiancee, Miss Ruth
