The wedding of Miss Ruth Betty
Hansen, daughter-of Mr. and Mrs.
Emil Hansen of Ivy avenue, Westbury,
and Wilfred Burder Brumby,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B.
Brumby, also of Ivy avenue, took
place at 4 o'clock, Sunday afternoon,
in the Church of the Advent
with the Rev. Richard D. Pope,
rector, officiating.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, was
gowned in white lace with a long
train and veil. The bridal bouquet
was of white roses.
Miss Rita Evelyn Hansen attended
her sitter as maid of honor,
wearing a blue taffeta gown
with a short veil and blue shoes.
She carried pink and blue flowers.
Miss Dorothy Murray of Hempstead
and Miss Emilie Lassen of
Brooklyn, were the bridesmaids
attired in pink taffeta gowns
matching that of.the maid of honor
and carrying similar, bouquets.
Jack Moffett was best man for
the groom and Frank B. Brumby,
Ji% brother of the groom, John Edward
Snyder and William Packer,
all of Westbury, served as ushers.
Among the 75 guests attending
the reception at the Elks club,
Hempstead, were, besides the immediate
families' and wedding
party, Mr. and Mrs. William
