Leonard Brumby
Of Kennel Club
Dies,
Leonard B. Brumby, 57, field
representative of the American
Kennel club, died yesterday at his
home, Old Country road. Hicks*
ville. Bom in England, be bad
lived in Nassau county -over 10
years.
He had been field representative
for the American Kennel club for
the past year and a half and prior
to that had operated his own axeanels
in Hicksviile for over 30
years. He was instrumental ia
forming the Professional ' Dog
Handlers' association and was a
former president He had also
formed the Westbury Kennel dub
and was active in the work af
Dogs for Defense during the war
years. ' He was a member of the
Hicksviile Episcopal church.
He is survived by his wifi, lira.
