  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 12/26/1959 AKRON - Alvin R. Bruning, 41. of the Ditch Rd., Town of Royalton, died unexpectedly Thursday (Dec. 24, 1959) in Meyer Memorial Hospital, Buffalo. A native of the Town of Royalton, Mr. Bruning was born Sept. 7, 1918. Surviving are his wife. Josephine; his mother, Mrs. Rose Bruning. and a sister. Miss Minnie Bruning, all at home; a brother, Franklin, Gasport, and sev eral nieces and nephews. The Rev Herman Ewald of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wol- cottsville, will officiate at serv- ices in Mr.. Bruning's home at 2 Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby.
