Mr. and Mrs David Bruning of
Middleport announce that the marriage
of their daughter, Sharon
Lee, to Pfc Nerea J.. Sharpsteen,
son of Mr.. and Mrs. Lee Keefe
Middleport will take place Satur-
day afternoon at 4 in the Royal-
ton Center Methodist Church.
The reception will be held at
5:30 in the evening at the Middleport
Fire Hall. No invitations have
been issued but relatives and
friends are cordially invited.

A white chantilly lace gown over satin was the choice
of Miss Sharon Lee Bruning for her marriage to Pfc.
Nerea James Sharpteen at 4 Saturday afternoon. The
couple was united by the Rev. Alfred Underhill of Middleport,
assisted by the Rev. William Gibson, pastor of the
Royalton Center Methodist Church where the ceremony
was performed. Poinsettias and candelabra graced the
altar
Mr.. and Mrs. David Bruning
of Middleport are the parents of
the bride, and the groom is the
son of Mrs Leone Keefe of Mid-
dleport.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father.. Her princess
style gown wass fashioned with a
circlet neckline of scalloped lace
appiques trimmed with sequins
and pearls and long sleeves. The
bouffant skirt fell to a chapel-
llength train. She wore a drop
pearl neclace, a gift of the groom.
A band of matching chantilly
lace formed the headpiece which
held her fingertip veil of illusion.
She carried a white satin covered
Bible topped with a white orchid
and stephanotis streamers.
GROOM'S SISTER
As her maid of honor, the bride
chose the groom's sister, Miss Mayva
J. Sharpsteen of Middleport.
She wore a Christmas Red paper
taffeta princess style gown fea-
turing a fitted bodice with circlet
neckline, cap sleeves and street-
lenth skirt,, dipping to a chapel-
length train at the back This was
compemented by a white fur tam
and white fur muff with red poin-
settias.
Howard Dunkelbeerger of Lock-
port acte as best man. Ushhers
were Kenneth Wellls of Gasport
and James Kolek of Lockport.
Miss Barbara Pechuman of Gas0
port played the wedding muic.
For her daughter's wedding
Mrs. Bruning wore a deep blue
acetate and rayon dress. The
groom's mother favored a royall
blue crepe dress. White accessor-
ies and corsages of red and white
split carnations completed their
attire.
EVENING RECEPTION
A 5:30 reception was held at
the Middleport Fir4 Hall where
the bride's table was centered with
a four-tiered wedding cake, flanked
by white candles in crystal hold-
ers.
As the couple left for a trip to
Georgia, the bride was wearing a
blue woo suit with white acces-
sories. On their return, they will
make their home in Fleming
Heights,, Ga.
Out-of-town guests were from
Niagara Falls, Medina,, Lockporrt,
Rochester and Kenmore.
Both the bride and groom were
graduated from Royalton-Hart-
land Central School in Middleport.
The groom is serving with the
Military Police at Fort Gordon,
Ga.
Pre-nuptial events included a
bedroom and bathroom shower
held by the groom's aunt, Mrs.
E rl Schad; a variety shower given
by the bride's alunt, Mrs. Jesephine
Smltherman and the
bride's sister. Mrs Mary Low; a
variety shower by the groom's
aunt, Mrs. Edward Britt and a
variety shower by the groom's
sister, Miss Mayva Sharpsteen.
