Carl Moriko, 85, of 421 O h i o
St., a retired steel worker, died
this morning (March 6, 1968) at
Mount View Hospital after
short illness.
Born Nov. 9, 1882 in Poland,
he came to the United States in
1907 and had lived in Lockport
for the past 55 years.
Mr. Moriko was employed for
'years at the Simonds Saw &
Steel Co., now the Simonds Steel
Division, of Wallace - Murray
Corp., retiring about 20 years
ago.
Surviving are his widow, Josephine
Moriko; three daughters,
Mrs. David Bruning of Middleport,
Mrs. George Dear and
Mrs. Josephine Smitherman,
both of Lockport; also s i x
grandchildren and 11 g r eatgrandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gaul Funeral
Home, 263 East Ave.,
where funeral services will be
held at 8:30 a.m. Friday and at
9 from St. Anthony's Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary's
Cemetery.
