  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 2/17/1958 MIDDLEPORT - A retired fanner. Fred Bruning. 82, died unexpectedly Sunday evening (Feb. 10. 1958) at his home, West Shelby Rd., Town of Shelby. Born Oct. 20, 1875 in Wolcottsville, he was the son of August and Rachael Gensow Bruning. He was a member of Trinity Lutheri Church, Wolcotttvllle. Survivors Include his wife, the former Blanche Koch; a son, Norman of the Town of Shelby; a granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Albert Reduns of Bascom; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call after tomorrow noon at his late home, where services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 and 2:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Herman Ewald will officiate. Burial will be In Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. West Shelby.
