  Barbara Caroline O'Brien, 56, of North Tonawanda, Saturday (November 25, 2017) in Buffalo General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. O'Brien was born in North Tonawanda, NY on May 27, 1961 to Edward Kumm, Jr. and Carol (Warda) Kumm-McMullen. Barbara was a former employee of Sugar Kake cookie co./Bremner Food Group. In her spare time she enjoyed going to bingo, doing ceramics, taking road trips, sister trips and watching old movies.  Barbara is survived by her husband David O'Brien, Sr., mother of David, Jr.; Cassandra, Joshua, and Alexandria O'Brien, sister of Janet (the late John) Steingasser, Lynette (Keith) Moeller, Stewart (Beth) Kumm, Sr., Constance (Dennis) Jurasz, Kelly (David) Rosenberger, the late Kathleen (Charles) Langevin, Sr., and the late Edward F. Kumm III, also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Friends may call Saturday (December 9, 2017) from 2-3 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, NY where funeral services will follow.
