- Donald B. Keith, 89, Rohrersville, MD, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, and Lady Lake, FL, died May 9, 2018 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Robert Sykes of Rohrersville, MD. Born October 23, 1928 in Coalport, son of the late Charles A. and Mary Ellen (Bowery) Keith.
Don was an Army Veteran of WWll. He worked as a millwright for Hooker Chemical for 39 years and retired in 1989. Member of the Honor Guard at the American Legion Post 347, Lady Lake, FL, and former member of C & MA Church, Coalport.
Preceded in death by wife, the former Bette Ricketts, on December 13, 2000; sisters, Vivian Mahute and Madeline Dillon; and brothers, Alvin, Orlen, and Charles.
Survived by children, Gary (Joanne Ritz) of Eden, NY, Timothy (Mina Enal) of Orlando, FL, and Sherry (Robert) Sykes of Rohrersville, MD; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother of Roxie Dillon of North Tonawanda, NY, Ray (Barbara) of Mt. Wolf, PA, Norma Jean Gulla and Carol Ann Ortt both of Niagara Falls, NY. Also survived by long time friend, Helen Fecko of Lady Lake, FL, and Dearborn, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 PM Monday and from noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport, PA, Rev. Isaac Stuart, officiating. Committal, Utahville Cemetery. Military Rites in charge of Coalport VFW.
