- Jerry B. Leibring
of Newfane, NY husband of Carolyn Costello Leibring entered into rest Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Buffalo, NY. He was born in Lockport, NY May 11, 1944, the son of the late Kenneth and Naoma Schweigert Leibring. He was a decorated US Army Vietnam Veteran who served with the 101st Airborne Division ("Screaming Eagles”), receiving the Bronze Star. Jerry retired, working as a press operator at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY. He married Carolyn Costello September 13, 1969, living in Newfane most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, playing cards, and spending time outdoors. Father of Eric (Pam) Leibring of Burt, Danielle (Josh) Pomeroy of Newfane. Grandfather of James, Sarah, Hannah and Julia. Brother of Sue (Merle) Scott of Newfane, NY. Uncle to many special nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main Street Newfane, NY FRIDAY 2-4 & 7-9pm where funeral services will be held SATURDAY at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Newfane, NY.
