Word has been received here of
the sudden death yesterday of
John G. Bubb. J r , of San Francisco.
The telegram stated that
Mr. Bubb was killed when a train
struck the automobile, in which he
was riding, at Sunnyvale, Califor
nia. Other details of the accident
are lackine
Mr. Bubb was born in Buffalo
55 years ago and lived the greater
part of his early life in the Tonawandas.
He left to make his
home in California about 25 years
ago. He is survived by his moth
er, Mrs. John G. Bubb and a sister.
Mrs. Elmer Hardy of North
Tonawanda and a brother. Frank
of Tonawanda
Arrangements for the funeral
will be made after communication
with California authorities.

TOTAWANDA, Aug. 17. - The
funcal of John Oeorge Bubb, Jr.,
formerly of this city, who was the
victim of an automobile accident id
Sunnyvale, Cal. August 7th, was
conducted yesterday afternoon in
th-- chapel at Elmlawn cemetery.
The Rev. Walter F. Hetsel officiated.
Mr. Bubb who had made his
home In San Francisco 25 years,
was an employe of a sign painting
company. The accident occurred
whe the truck, in which he and
another man were riding, was hit
by a train. The inquest Is pending
in California.
Mr. Bubb is survived by his mother,
Mrs. Minnie Bubb; a sister, Mrs.
Elmer Hardy, and a brother, Frank,
all of the Tonawandas
