A retired employe of the New
York State Electric and Gaa
Corporation, Roy H. Buchanan, 68,
of 15 Livingston Place, died early
today in Lockport City Hospital.
Mr. Buchanan was born in Lockport
on May 10. 1879, son of form-
er Policeman Robert B. Buchanan
a n d M a r g a r e t S i l k Buchanan. For
38 years he was employed by the
electric and gas company where
he was in charge of the electric
meters department. He was a
member of Red Jacket Lodge, 646,
F&AM.
Surviving are two sons, Police
Sergt. Robert J. Buchanan of this
city and R. James Buchanan of
Youngstown, O.; two brothers,,
James S and Deuty County Clerk
Ross G. Buchanan, and one sister,
Mrs. Garuder, all of Lock-
port.
Services will be held Wednesday
at 11 o'clock at the Prudden
Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., the
Rev. Reginald Groff,, curate of
Gracce Episcopal Church, officiat-
ing. Burial will be in Cold Springs
Cemettery.
