Mrs. James S. Buchanan, 82, of
11 Cleveland Place, died this
morning in Lockport City Hospital
after a long illness. Mrs. Buchanan,
the former Minnie Dysinger,
was born in Germany and
lived in Lockport most of her life.
She was born May 28, 1872, the
daughter of the late Jacob and
Charlotte E. Dysinger. Her husband,
who died in 1949, was the
assistant operator of the Lockport
Pumping Works for several years
until his retirement in 1939.
Mrs. Buchanan was a member
of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed
Church.
She is survived by a son Donald
It., a sister, Mrs. Emil Quandt,
and two grandsons, all of Lockkport.
Services will be held at the
Prudden and Kandt Funeral
Home. 242 Genesee St., Saturday
at 10:30, the Rev. Herbert L. Siegner
officiating. Burial will be in
