  Niagara Gazette - 7/27/1953 LYNDONVILLE. July 27-Mrs. Harriet Beatrice Buckland. 61. died Saturday at the h o m e of her daughter. Mrs. Merrill Lonnen. fol- lowing a long illness. Mrs. Buckland was worn tn England. August 18. 1891. a daughter of William H e l s d o n and May Breeze Helsdon. She came to this country in her infancy with her parents. She married Melvin Buckland here in 1914 and had re- sided in the Town o'f Yates since her marriage. In addition to her husband and • daughter, she is survived by one son. Robert Buckland: her father, all of Lyndonville; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Schultz, Medina,-Mrs. George Beck, this village, and Mrs. Carl Richcnburg, Corfu; two; brothers. William Helsdon. Jr.. and John Helsdon, both of this village. and nine grandchildren. Euncral services were held at the Smythe Funeral home this afternoon with' the Rev. Floyd A. Childs. of the Yates Baptist church, officiating. Interment was made in Lynhavcn cemetery.
