  Rochester NY Democrat Chronicle - 12/27/1943 Military funeral services for Sec ond Lt. Lawrence T. Buckley, who was posthumously awarded the Sil ver Star for bravery under fire on Makin Island, will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 a. m. in Farrell Brothers Colonial Funeral Home, 52 Ridge Rd. W.. and at 10 o'clock in the Pro-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Lieutenant Buckley. 29, was killed in action Nov. 20, 1943. His home was at 3418 Mt. Read Blvd. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Walter B. Burns and Mrs. John A. Lamb, and three brothers, J. Lloyd, Leslie M. and Linton Buckley. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery
